Our plan was to check out the Puttshack after going to a movie. We stopped in at 5 pm on a Saturday, but no openings to golf until 10 pm. Obviously the place was pretty busy and had a good lively vibe. We opted for a cocktail at the bar. Would definitely go back and would probably make a reservation.
Dinner was at Yumi – Japanese restaurant connected to Southdale mall. Nice selection of sake and the specialty rolls were huge and tasty. The atmosphere was a bit lacking but good experience was really good.
the next morning we went to a nearby Original Pancake House. Place was packed at 10 am – 20 minute wait, but as usual food was solid. A ton of comfort food at a good price.
